Then think about this: the City of McKinney has twenty boards and commissions, each manned by volunteers to help city leaders build a strong and dynamic community. And each year they look for citizens who will step up and serve.
Mark your calendar for Tuesday, June 9, 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. to find out more.
The Leadership McKinney Alumni Network and the City of McKinney are hosting a webinar for all those who want to learn more about our boards and commissions, and what service on those boards looks like. Citizen volunteers who are now serving on one of the twenty boards and commissions will join us to share their mission and what they do as volunteers. Also joining will be Mayor George Fuller, Assistant City Manager Kim Flom and President of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce, Lisa Hermes.
This virtual event is free and open to the public, but you must be registered to receive the link for the webinar.
